Working with Marcus
What does Marcus manufacture?
Marcus manufactures build-to-print components and assemblies to customer drawings: zinc and aluminium die castings, CNC machined parts, tooling and fixtures, surface-treated components, and mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies. Forgings, sand and investment castings, sheet metal, extrusions, plastics, and rubber are supplied through our qualified partner network.
What is the minimum or maximum order quantity?
There is no fixed minimum. We support prototype and pre-production quantities through to high-volume OEM programmes. Die casting runs from 40T to 400T on our own machines, and up to 4200T through the partner network, so part size and annual volume both influence the best process and cell for your component.
How quickly will I get a quotation?
Every enquiry receives an engineering review and a response within 48 hours. That response includes DFM observations and feasibility comments, not just a price.
What do you need in order to quote?
2D drawings or 3D models (STEP, STP, IGES, DWG or PDF), material specification, surface finish and quality requirements, annual volume, and your target timeline. Any customer-specific standards should be included as well.
How are drawings and specifications handled?
Confidentially. Drawings are shared only with the engineering and quoting team, and with a qualified partner plant where that process is required — under the same confidentiality terms. We are happy to sign your NDA before you send files.
What quality certifications does Marcus hold?
Marcus Hi-Tech Engineering is certified to IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015, issued by United Registrar of Systems (URS). Our systems include APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and FAIR documentation.
What are typical tooling lead times?
Tooling is typically 4–6 weeks, with First Article Inspection Reports about one week after tool trials. Tooling is designed and manufactured in our own tool room, so engineering changes do not depend on an external supplier.
Can Marcus supply finished, ready-to-install assemblies?
Yes. Semi-automated assembly lines integrate die cast, machined, stamped, forged, and moulded components into tested mechanical and electro-mechanical modules, then package and label them to your standard.
Where are your facilities located?
Our certified in-house facility is in Coimbatore, India. We operate a regional base in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and work with qualified partner plants across India, Vietnam, and China, with customer support presence in the USA and Europe.
Who do I contact to start?
Send drawings and volumes through the RFQ form, email sales@marcusmanufacturing.com, or call +91 84890 77700 between 7.30am and 5.30pm IST, Monday to Saturday.
