- Secondary Operations
At Marcus Hi-Tech Engineering, precision die casting is where excellence begins. We complement it with a full range of in-house secondary operations to deliver fully finished, ready-to-use components.
From precision machining and surface finishing to coating, painting, and assembly, every process is engineered to meet exact specifications and deliver superior performance in the end application.
CNC Machining
Surface Finishing & Treatments
A wide variety of surface finishing operations enhance the functionality, strength, and appearance of components:
Assembly & Integration
Our semi-automated assembly lines deliver fully tested, ready-to-install mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, helping customers reduce supply chain complexity.
Quality Assurance in Secondary Operations
Every secondary process is governed by stringent QA/QC standards to ensure consistent quality and performance:
Why This Matters for Your Programme
What this capability changes for the engineers and buyers running the programme.
One Supplier
Casting through to finished, packed component.
Tight Tolerances
CMM-verified dimensional control on every batch.
Finish Range
Coating, plating, anodising, and polishing under one programme.
Reduced Logistics
Fewer hand-offs between vendors, fewer delays.

What secondary operations does Marcus provide after die casting?
Marcus offers a full spectrum of secondary operations to deliver finished, ready-to-use components. These include precision CNC machining, surface treatments (powder coating, anodising, plating, wet painting, e-coat), heat treatment, polishing, blasting, resin impregnation, and mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly.
How does CNC machining add value to the die casting process?
CNC machining brings as-cast features to final tolerance — critical bores, sealing faces, threads, and mating surfaces — so the component arrives ready to assemble rather than needing a separate machining supplier and an extra logistics leg.
Are secondary operations covered by the same quality system?
Yes. Secondary operations run under the same IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001 certified quality system as casting, with inline inspection, dimensional validation, and documented results.
